India’s top 10 listed blue-chip companies are experiencing a decline in market capitalisation share. This decline is attributed to sustained foreign portfolio investor selling and large-cap stock underperformance. The top 10 companies now account for around 17.65% of the total market capitalisation as of October 9. Despite this, domestic flows are supporting the broader market and smaller companies are outperforming large caps.
