OpenAI published a blog post on Tuesday detailing its new model Astra. The company says that Astra meets the Critical cybersecurity capability threshold under our Preparedness Framework. It is claimed to be capable of spotting previously unknown security flaws and developing ways to exploit them across many well-protected systems without human intervention. Astra will be available soon, but access to its most advanced cybersecurity capabilities will be more limited.
