Among the numerous features Apple demoed at WWDC 2026, ‘iPhone Handoff’ was briefly touched on stage. The feature basically lets a user use two iPhones with the same number. It works like a companion eSIM, an operator feature introduced earlier for wearables. With iOS 27 release on the horizon, a developer has now demonstrated how it works and explained its limitations.
