Does Temple's Wearable Really Track Brain Blood Flow? Deepinder Goyal's Startup Shares Early Findings

Temple, the new health-tracking wearable, has finally undergone its first validation study, Deepinder Goyal announced on Monday. In the validation study, which involved 23 healthy adults, the Temple device was compared with Transcranial Doppler (TCD) results. The study found that heart rate and brain blood flow increased during cycling compared with baseline and recovery. Both Temple-BF and the TCD-measured MCAv were able to reflect these changes, showing similar brain flow trends.
