Nothing Phone 2 to Stop at Android 16 as CEO Carl Pei Explains Update Decision

Nothing Phone 2 users have sought further software support after the smartphone was left out of the Nothing OS 5.0 rollout. A Reddit discussion brought responses from CEO Carl Pei and a Nothing employee, while users also requested newer features for the handset. Pei initially misstated the number of Android upgrades the Phone 2 had received before correcting his response. The discussion also highlighted requests for camera improvements and newer interface features, as well as questions about extending chipset support.
