Gemini has secured a Major Payment Institution licence from Singapore’s Monetary Authority, allowing its local entity to provide digital payment token and cross-border money transfer services. The approval follows an in-principle licence granted in October 2024. Gemini has operated in Singapore since 2020 and currently offers spot trading, custody, and OTC services.
