Apple Just Gave the Standard AirPods 5 a Massive 'Pro' Upgrade

Apple has launched the AirPods 5 with open-ear Active Noise Cancellation and a redesigned acoustic architecture. The company claims the earbuds reduce up to 50 percent more external noise than AirPods 4 with ANC. Apple also claims improved sound quality with next-generation Adaptive EQ. The new AirPods support Siri AI features, head gestures and Live Translation. A second variant comes with a Wireless Charging Case, adding stem-based volume controls and longer battery life, with Apple claiming up to five hours of playback with ANC.
