Googlebook Laptops to Open for Pre-Orders on September 21, Google Confirms

Googlebooks will enter the pre-order phase later this month, giving the new laptop category its first confirmed sales window. Google has yet to reveal pricing or the models that will initially reach customers. The company has also detailed several features planned for the laptops, including Gemini Intelligence, Magic Pointer and Create My Widget. Android integration will allow users to access phone apps and files from their laptops. Googlebooks will use the Android technology stack and feature the returning Glowbar above the keyboard.
