India’s women’s cricket team won a record eighth Asia Cup title after beating Sri Lanka by 72 runs in Dubai. However, the celebrations were overshadowed by their decision not to receive the trophy from ACC chief Mohsin Naqvi. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia said the board had already informed organisers and maintained that the decision was taken collectively.
