Rice Price: The price of rice has suddenly risen across Tamil Nadu. People are particularly affected by the price hike, even in the rice-producing Delta districts. Given this situation, PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss has urged the Tamil Nadu government to immediately implement the sale of rice through the public distribution system (ration shops), similar to the practice in Andhra Pradesh.
