Qualcomm is reportedly developing official GPU drivers that could improve PC game emulation on Android devices powered by Snapdragon chips. Tech YouTuber Geekerwan claims the company is also considering drivers with proper DirectX 12 support. Tests on a Qualcomm reference smartphone running the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 reportedly ran Cyberpunk 2077 and Black Myth: Wukong at slightly above 30 frames per second. It remains unclear whether the reported improvements will reach current devices or future Snapdragon platforms.
