Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage triumphed with a gold medal in javelin at the Asian Games in Mizuho Park, achieving a remarkable throw of 88.55 meters. Neeraj Chopra, unfortunately, could not compete due to an ankle injury, allowing Pathirage to take the spotlight. Yashvir Singh and Rohit Yadav brought home silver and bronze with personal bests.
