Gold Price Today: The price of gold has dropped again today. After a shocking surge of ₹560 per sovereign of ornamental gold in Chennai yesterday, the price has now decreased; it fell by ₹240 in a single day today. Compared to the price of ₹1.15 lakh per sovereign on the 1st of last month, the rate has dropped by ₹6,000. The price of silver has also seen a sharp decline today.
