IGN is reporting live from New York Comic Con 2026, where Marvel Television and Marvel Animation are set to make announcements at a special panel event on the Empire Stage.

Marvel hasn’t said much of anything about what to expect from the ‘Up Next From Marvel Television and Marvel Animation’ panel, which kicks off at 1.15pm PT / 4.15pm ET / 9.15pm UK time. “Join special guests for an inside look at Marvel Television and Marvel Animation’s most anticipated upcoming series on Disney+,” reads the official blurb.

So, speculation time! With VisionQuest around the corner (October 14), it seems likely that Marvel will offer a final look at the show, which rounds out the WandaVision trilogy of Disney+ series (WandaVision, Agatha All Along, and now VisionQuest). Elsewhere, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, which will reportedly be its final season. Season 3 is currently expected to premiere in 2027. Maybe we’ll get a release date and trailer tonight.

But the bigger picture question here is whether Marvel will announce any further live-action series, amid speculation that it’s pulling back from costly shows (the cancelation of Wonder Man Season 2 wasn’t a great sign). The Hollywood Reporter has said three to five other shows are in development, including a spy series named Zodiac. But officially, Marvel has yet to announce any further live-action series. Could this panel offer us a roadmap of releases?

As for Marvel Animation, Season 2 of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in January 2027, so we’ll probably get a look at that. I’d love to see something of X-Men ’97 Season 3, which is coming next year. Marvel Zombies Season 2 is in the works — maybe it’s a time for that to shuffle forward.

Not long until we find out! We’ll be at the panel and reporting live below.

The Defenders reunite for Daredevil Season 3

Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, and Finn Jones appeared on-stage to talk about Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. Mike Colter, who plays Luke Cage, failed to turn up because he was “stuck at work.”

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2

Marvel treated us to some footage of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2, and announced a firm release date: January 13, 2026. The first poster is below:

X-Men ’97 Season 3

We got a glimpse at X-Men ’97 Season 3, alongside confirmation that Deadpool will appear in the series. Deadpool turned up in Season 2 more as an Easter egg than a cameo via the shapeshifting Morph. It feels like the real Deadpool will appear in Season 3, though.

More Marvel Zombies

Marvel announced Marvel Zombies is coming back with three two-part specials, the first of which hits Disney+ Halloween 2027. The Winter Soldier comes out in 2027, The Fist of Konshu in 2028, and The Last Guardian in 2029. Marvel wouldn’t say who the Last Guardian is, but it’s “very very exciting.”

Marvel Television show Zodiac announced

Our first announcement is Zodiac, a new live-action Marvel Television show coming to Disney+ in 2028. A logo was shown on-screen that suggests this will revolve around SHIELD in some way. The Hollywood Reporter had previously said this was in the works, calling it a spy series. Hopefully we’ll find out more soon. The logo and reveal are below.

UPDATE: And we’re off! After a delay, the panel has now begun. Marvel kicks things off with a sizzle reel showing various Marvel shows, complete with a voiceover from Stan Lee. There’s snippets of footage from Daredevil to She-Hulk (remember that?).

UPDATE: Yep, this panel is running late. They’re still letting people in to the Empire Stage. Updates are coming…

UPDATE: 15 minutes to go! It’s looking increasingly likely that the panel will start late, with fans still waiting to get inside the Empire Stage. We will keep you updated!
