Indian shooting legend Abhinav Bindra urged athletes to question their coaches, training methods and sporting systems to improve performance. He said asking questions should not be mistaken for indiscipline, as curiosity helped shape his own success. The 2008 Olympic gold-medallist warned that restricting athletes’ freedom to speak could hinder growth. Bindra also won World Championships gold and served eight years on the IOC Athletes’ Commission.
