McIlroy answers Kevin Kisner’s $10m India fee claim and explains why he played there

Rory McIlroy has responded to Kevin Kisner’s accusation that he travelled to India primarily for a reported $10 million appearance fee at the inaugural DP World India Championship. The Northern Irishman defended his participation, arguing that financial incentives and a genuine desire to grow golf internationally can coexist, despite finishing tied 42nd in New Delhi.
