Haryana power employees’ strike called off: What is Section 108 of Electricity Act invoked by CM Nayab Saini? Explained

Haryana used Section 108 of the Electricity Act to challenge HERC’s approval for a private power distributor in Gurugram and Nuh, a key demand of striking workers. CM Nayab Saini said the government had assured employees of its support, following which they agreed to return to work immediately.
