WhatsApp is testing a new Instagram Reels shortcut in the chat attachment menu for Android users. The feature lets users browse their recently watched, saved and liked Reels and share them directly in chats, without having to look for them in the media picker. It is rolling out to some beta testers running WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.26.42.9. Users must link their WhatsApp account to Accounts Centre to access the shortcut, while a wider rollout remains unconfirmed.
