Ethereum Postpones Glamsterdam Testing as Developers Warn of Contract Risks

Ethereum developers have delayed the Glamsterdam upgrade on the Hoodi testnet while investigating risks linked to proposed gas accounting changes. Security firm ChainSecurity found that EIP-8037 and EIP-8038 could alter how contracts handle failed operations and storage creation. Although the researchers demonstrated the potential issues, they have not publicly identified a production protocol affected by the vulnerability.
