WADA allows Ozempic, Mounjaro use under 2027 anti-doping rules

WADA’s newly updated anti-doping regulations now permit athletes to continue utilizing weight-loss drugs Ozempic and Mounjaro, as they are included in the monitored category rather than prohibited. As research progresses into their significant physiological implications and potential dangers, clarity has also been provided regarding glucocorticoids and cannabis-related substances. Athletes are encouraged to engage in supervised use of these medications.
