Blockchain investigators have linked North Korea’s Lazarus Group to the alleged $6.3 billion Binance hack on October 29. TRM Labs attributed the incident to TraderTraitor, while ZachXBT identified Lazarus as the probable attacker. Investigators traced transfers across multiple blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Bitcoin and Tron. Blockaid’s analysis also identified a suspicious EIP-7702 authorisation that may have enabled the attacker to transfer assets from a Binance hot wallet.
