Ishan Kishan breaks Surya's record with historic T20I run spree, joins 2K-run club

Ishan Kishan achieved a new milestone, surpassing Suryakumar Yadav’s record for most T20I runs in a year by an Indian. In the fifth match against New Zealand, Kishan scored 61 runs off 32 balls. He became the seventh Indian to reach 2,000 T20I runs in 69 innings. Kishan’s performance helped India post 191 runs, contributing to their unassailable lead in the series. The match showcased his consistency and attacking play throughout the year.
