The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) launched three new sovereign AI models from two Indian AI labs, namely Soket Labs Technology and Research and ZenteiQ AiTech Innovations. The ministry released Soket AI’s EKA-1 and ZenteiQ’s Dhīr 2B and Dhīr 5B AI models. Soket claims that its AI model features 26.3 million parameters. It has been trained using 7.5 trillion tokens.
