JioPC is now available as a standalone cloud computing service that works on existing computers, regardless of the user’s telecom or broadband provider. The service offers up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage through the cloud, targeting older PCs with performance, storage or software limitations. Jio says users can activate the service in under five minutes without installing hardware or migrating data. The updated service is available in two variants, with subscription plans starting at Rs. 1,000 for two months.
