The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could mark a major shift in Qualcomm’s flagship smartphone strategy. The company is expected to introduce two chipsets, with the Pro version positioned above the standard model. Both are tipped to use a 2nm process and a new Oryon CPU design, while the Pro variant could bring an Adreno 850 GPU and LPDDR6 support. Xiaomi, Samsung and OnePlus are among the brands linked to phones using the upcoming platforms, although specifications and device plans remain unconfirmed.
