Nintendo Store Leak Reveals The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Remake Pricing

It looks like Nintendo has inadvertently revealed how much its remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will cost on Switch 2.

Ahead of today’s dedicated Legend of Zelda Nintendo Direct broadcast, Ocarina of Time’s digital edition appeared on the Australian Nintendo Store, priced at AUD $94.95 (thanks, Vooks). The listing is now offline.

How does this compare to other Switch 2 games? Well, this is the same Australian price point as Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, which costs $59.99 in the U.S. or £49.99 in the U.K. In other words, this is the cheaper Switch 2 price point, rather than the premium $69.99 cost charged for Mario Kart World or Donkey Kong Bananza.

Remember, of course, that Nintendo now employs a range of prices for its Switch 2 games (this year’s Star Fox was cheaper still, at $49.99). Newer Switch 2 games also now typically cost more for a physical copy, with the digital download version less expensive.

What does this mean for the Ocarina of Time remake itself? Well, it’s hard to say — though naturally this suggests the game will not be presented in the same way as an all-new title akin to Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom. Both of those cost $79.99 for their Nintendo Switch 2 versions.
