Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra may stick with its existing biometric options instead of adopting Metalenz’s Polar ID system. A tipster claims there is currently no sign of Samsung preparing the technology for its next flagship or other Galaxy phones. Earlier reports linked the rumour to experimental testing by Samsung’s System LSI division. The company is expected to retain an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and camera-based face unlock. Samsung is also reportedly exploring camera hardware changes to manage production costs without increasing the phone’s price.
