Apple watchOS 27, iPadOS 27 Get New Health and Fitness Features

Apple has detailed new health and fitness capabilities coming to watchOS 27 and iPadOS 27 following its ‘Surprise and Shine’ event. Workout Buddy will gain broader fitness data support and work without an iPhone nearby, while treadmill tracking will use machine learning to improve distance readings. Apple is also adding perimenopause and menopause tracking. On iPad, the redesigned Health app will offer personalised insights, a Longevity section and Health Age, with Apple Intelligence helping users understand their health data across multiple categories.
