Asian Games 2026 Day 4: Mirabai Chanu ends Asiad medal wait; India win two skeet bronzes in shooting

Mirabai Chanu won silver in the women’s 49kg category on Wednesday. The medal was India’s first Asian Games weightlifting medal since Karnam Malleswari won silver in 1998. Raiza Dhillon, Maheshwari Chauhan and Parinaaz Dhaliwal combined for a score of 331 to finish third in the women’s skeet team event. In the men’s skeet event, Anantjeet Singh Naruka, veteran Mairaj Ahmad Khan and Bhavtegh Singh Gill secured bronze with a combined score of 346.
