Magic Eden is facing questions over unusual Ethereum NFT transactions involving several thousand tokens that appeared to move for 0 ETH. NFT trader Cirrus first flagged the activity on September 25, while another pseudonymous account claimed it was a whitehat operation. Magic Eden had not publicly confirmed an exploit or the legitimacy of the recovery effort at the time of writing. The number of affected wallets and total NFT value remain unclear.
