OpenAI Plans to Launch a New Cybersecurity-Focused GPT-6 Series AI Model: Report

OpenAI is planning to release a new cybersecurity-focused AI model, called GPT-6 Cyber, according to a report citing people familiar with the matter. The AI model will reportedly first be released in preview in the coming weeks. However, the report does not specify the exact date. The new GPT-6 Cyber AI model will reportedly be accompanied by a new consumer “product”, which will let customers deploy it in a “more secure” manner. The model is reportedly capable of automatically patching cybersecurity vulnerabilities, stopping bad actors from exploiting vulnerabilities with the help of AI-powered tools. On top of this, the new cybersecurity-focused AI model will reportedly allow OpenAI to monitor how its models are being utilised.
