Asian Games 2026: Treesa Jolly-Gayatri Gopichand bow out in Badminton quarters

India’s badminton pairs Treesa Jolly-Gayatri Gopichand and Dhruv Kapila-Tanisha Crasto lost in the quarterfinals. Treesa and Gayatri were defeated by the Malaysian duo Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan, while Kapila and Crasto faced the world number one Chinese pair. Both Indian pairs fought hard but ultimately could not secure victory. India’s hopes in singles remain alive with PV Sindhu and Unnati Hooda competing later.
