Zano has restarted its blockchain from block 3,833,000 after a vulnerability in its Gateway Address feature allowed the creation of unauthorised ZANO and Freedom Dollar tokens. The rollback removes roughly one month of network history. Miners, stakers, nodes, exchanges and pools must update their software to support the restored chain. Zano has also advised users to retain transaction IDs and trading records while reviewing past activity.
