Sujeet Kalkal gave India its first gold medal in wrestling at the Asian Games 2026, winning the men’s freestyle 65kg title in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. Kalkal defeated Tajikistan’s Abdulmazhid Kudiev in the final at the Nagoya City Inae Sports Center.
