Apple Watch Series 12 is one of those upgrades that becomes more convincing the longer you use it. The design has barely changed, but Apple has made meaningful improvements where they matter more. The new Health Sensing System detects heart rate quicker and takes readings more frequently, while the Readiness score finally brings sleep, activity, recovery and other health metrics into one easy-to-understand number. Battery life was another pleasant surprise during my review, regularly lasting beyond a full day and draining noticeably slower during runs than on the Series 10 and Series 11.
