The European Securities and Markets Authority has told MiCA-authorised crypto-asset service providers to stop offering services related to stablecoins that do not meet MiCA requirements. National regulators have up to three months to address remaining exposures, while allowing limited services for existing customers to exit their positions. New purchases, trading, promotion, and distribution of affected tokens must stop.
