Who should be held liable for the harms of self-evolving AI? The answer is clear

The law must keep up with AI which is delivering models that learn, adapt and evolve on their own. Labs have little control on how they are deployed. So, just as users of electricity are responsible for how it’s used, those who use continual learning models must be held liable for any resulting harm
