Former Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja has revealed he secretly battled rheumatoid arthritis throughout his career. Diagnosed at 22, he suffered severe knee pain and feared for his life. Medication helped him return to cricket and achieve success, including 6,229 Test runs and 16 centuries. Retiring in January 2026, Khawaja hopes sharing his experience will inspire others living with chronic illnesses.
