Netflix reportedly offered $500 million to Microsoft for an exclusive film and TV license for Xbox IP for seven years. However, talks between the two companies collapsed after a leadership change at the streamer. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma reportedly countered with $800 million, but by then Netflix CCO Bela Bajaria had been fired.
