Garmin’s ECG feature is designed to help smartwatch users check their heart rhythm and look for signs of atrial fibrillation. Compatible watches use built-in sensors to record the heart’s electrical activity, with results available on the device and through Garmin Connect. Users can also access their previous readings and create reports to share with doctors. The feature is intended for adults aged 22 and above and requires updated smartwatch software and the latest version of the Garmin Connect app.
