Maharashtra is working on a proposed legal framework for tokenising land and immovable property using blockchain technology. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said the state is designing the architecture for the Maharashtra Digitisation and Exchange of Land Token Asset (DELTA) Bill. The initiative aims to improve liquidity and transparency around real-world assets rather than encourage speculative activity.
