A20 Pro vs A19 Pro: Why the 2NM Chip on iPhone 18 Pro Is a Massive Leap

A20 Pro presents considerable gains over its predecessor—last year’s A19 Pro, which powered the iPhone 17 Pro lineup and the iPhone Air. A20 Pro features 50 percent more memory bandwidth than A19 Pro; its GPU capability is up to 40 percent faster than A19 Pro; and the chip’s AI processing power is double that of A19 Pro.
