WhatsApp may be expanding its chat customisation tools on Android with a selection of new themes and wallpaper options. According to a feature tracker, the update could organise themes into categories such as Featured, Nature, Live, Minimal and Doodle. Separate wallpaper sections may also include Vibrant and Gradient designs. The reported update could let users apply wallpapers independently of themes, while AI-generated and gallery images may remain available. Automatic bubble colour selection is also reportedly part of the new experience.
