From distinctive task chairs to sprawling modular systems, the following seating has been released this year by Scandinavian furniture manufacturer Flokk‘s sub-brands.
The HÅG X Recouture Capisco task chair features the original HÅG Capisco task chair’s distinctive cruciform backrest, developed by designer Peter Opsvik and originally released by Flokk-owned ergonomic chair brand HÅG in 1984.

In the this version, created in collaboration with textiles brand Recouture, the rear side of the backrest is upholstered in traditional Norwegian vintage åkle textile, characterised by bright colours and scintillating patterns.
Users can select from various base colour and finish options, while the åkle material itself is vintage, meaning that each is one of a kind and is matched with a complementary block-coloured wool upholstery covering the seat.

Design studio Webb has created an flexible, snaking sofa system for Flokk-owned, UK-based furniture brand Connection.
Terrain modular seating comes in various colourways and module options, which can be reconfigured to facilitate relaxation and informal meetings in across lobbies, workplaces and education interiors.

An enveloping, tub-like shape characterises this cosy seat produced for Connection by Italian duo Lucidi Pevere.
Contrast manifests in the Oko chair where its upholstered base and plump cushioning meet a sleek, curved read panel made from wood.

Connection has also released a modular sofa named Leo, created by Turkish interior designers Km34, who included sprung seats and matching feather-filled arm pillows for a sense of old-world comfort.
Its slender metal legs and base give it a contemporary aesthetic, as do its rectilinear side panels and cushions, which come in a range of bright and neutral colourways.

HÅG Minu was conceived by Norwegian designers Andreas Engesvik and Jannicke Grung for HÅG with the aim of bringing the comfort and playfulness of residential furniture to workplaces.
Made from up to 60 per cent recycled materials, the chair has a compact form available in seven designer-curated curated colourways, with further customisation options available upon request.

Flokk is a family of 11 design brands that specialise in ergonomic chairs, seats and modular systems geared specifically for use in workplaces.
Through its products, the brands aim to foster health, wellbeing, productivity and sustainability for users, while enhancing interiors with design-forward seating solutions.
