The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake has now become the highest rated game of 2026. With reviews coming out a day before launch, the remake is sitting at an aggregate Metacritic score of 96, based on 84 reviews. The rating makes the game the best reviewed title in years and the highest rated game since Baldur’s Gate 3 in 2023.
