Hackers reportedly targeted Android and iOS users through compromised websites. According to a report by cybersecurity firm Sekoia TDR, the attackers exploited a Google Chrome vulnerability and a flaw in Qualcomm’s Adreno GPU driver to compromise Android devices. The campaign reportedly targeted Chrome versions 139 to 145. Sekoia attributed the campaign to the Russian state-sponsored hacking group APT29.
