Bitget has introduced its Open Custody Network (OCN), allowing eligible users to trade on its spot, margin, and futures markets without transferring assets into the exchange’s custody. The system connects independent banks and custodians to Bitget’s trading engine through asset mirroring, allowing participants to access the exchange’s liquidity while retaining custody of their funds. The initiative targets institutional participants, including market makers and asset managers, and builds on Bitget’s existing partnerships with third-party custody providers.
