10.09 national record, but a difficult season: Gurindervir's 100m test begins at Asiad

Gurindervir Singh begins his Asian Games 100m campaign with a priority: “the medal is the most important thing”. After 10.39s runs at the Commonwealth Games and Bhubaneswar, followed by 10.32s in Delhi, the national record holder enters Aichi-Nagoya with a 10.09s best. With Animesh Kujur and Asia’s leading sprinters in the field, Gurindervir is also hoping the Asian Games can produce the sub-10 run. He has worked hard all year.
