2027 Kawasaki Ninja H2 revealed

Kawasaki has revealed the 2027 Ninja H2, ending weeks of anticipation that began with homologation filings and a cryptic teaser campaign. The supercharged flagship returns with an updated engine that now makes slightly less power but is now compliant with Euro5+ norms, allowing the H2 to return to European markets.

Retains overall design but features redesigned supercharger internals and a new exhaust

While the 998cc supercharged inline-four appears visually unchanged, Kawasaki says it has been revised substantially. The impeller and intake system have been completely redesigned, along with the pistons, cylinder head and crankshaft. These changes now allow the engine to meet Euro5+ emissions standards while delivering what the company describes as stronger low- to mid-range torque. The new single-exit exhaust, like on the H2 SX and Z H2, replaces the previous twin-exit can.

Changes to the hardware include the addition of Brembo Hypure four-piston front calipers in place of the outgoing model’s Stylema units. The bike has a kerb weight of 238kg, which is identical to that of the previous-generation Ninja H2 that’s still currently not on sale in the US market.

Also new is an updated instrument cluster, with an analogue tachometer alongside a TFT screen. It appears to be the same unit used on the Ninja H2 SX and gives you access to a host of rider aids, including multiple levels of power and traction control, as well as cruise control.

At the moment, the 2027 Ninja H2 has only been launched in the UK, where it is priced at £28,600 (equivalent to Rs 36.90 lakh). It is also available in an H2 Carbon variant, which adds a carbon-fibre-reinforced upper cowling and is priced at £31,350 (Rs 40.44 lakh). It remains to be seen if the Ninja H2 returns to India after it was discontinued some years ago.
